Pastor Tim realized God's call while studying at Lee University; over the years that calling has taken the shape of student and outreach ministries. Him and his wife, Trish, have two children, Emmanuel and Ethan. Depending on the time of year, you will find Tim stowed away in a tree stand hunting or walking the greens of the golf courses (especially the ones that give clergy discounts).
Christian Education / Women's Ministries
Trish was swept off her feet by the debonair Lead Pastor Tim and has since worked alongside him in student and outreach ministries. In between running and raising two boys, she has also pursued her Masters in Professional Counseling. It is through working with students and families she identified the need and developed a passion for women's ministry and Christian Education. Trish continues this passion by also heading up BCA's women's ministries.
Troy served in the United State Marine Corp. for 6 years where he developed the skills that help make him one of the most prompt and organized licensed ministers in the Ohio area. Troy realized God's calling on his life in 1989, and he has been pursuing Him ever since. Him and his wife, Becky, are currently raising their daughter, Kellyn. Troy's favorite Bible verse encompasses what every Christian should strive to do: Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Youth / Music
Whether in a high-tech house of worship or all alone in the privacy of her prayer closet, Becky uses her God-given musical talents to worship our Father. Since 1994, Becky has blessed BCA with her innovative music choices by some of her favorite artists like Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, and Jesus Culture. She believes that beautiful worship is when it all clicks – when every outside distraction and thought of self slips away, and you are pouring your whole self out to God. This is the type of worship that Becky brings to BCA.
Children
Told they were either too old, too odd, or too immature to be an American Idol, this Kids Church team decided that the only way they were ever going to make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was to pay the admission fee. This minor setback did not stop this team -- they each decided to take their skills to the Kid's Church stage. Each of these leaders "rocks out" with the children every Sunday morning, sharing the gospel while showcasing their creative dance, vocal, and acting skills.
